We made this last week as a FHE treat. The kids LOVED it! Every once in a while when we hit a good Mexican restaurant, we'll splurge and order "fried ice cream." You can't go wrong with this one (another great recipe with my two favorite ingredients-sugar & butter!) ENJOY!
1 half gallon ice cream
3 cups corn flakes (or rice krispies)
1/2 cube butter
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Take ice cream out of the freezer and let soften.
In a pan, melt the butter and brown sugar. Add corn flakes (or rice krispies).
Scoop softened ice cream into individual balls. Roll the ice cream into mixture until well covered. Refreeze for a few minutes. Serve with hot fudge or carmel sauce.
